Who am I?

I am Alina Silverthorne, a townswoman in 1580s London whose husband left to join the British naval forces to fight against the Spanish Armada.  I make my living by needle and thread, and I wait patiently for my husband to give up this nautical nonsense and come home.

That's it.  No cross-continental caravans, no kidnapping by gypsies, no rich foreign lords swept off their feet by my devastating beauty.  Sorry.

Okay, I know the pictures show me in court gowns.  Consistency is the mark of a small mind.
